About Bounce Out of School Care

 

Bounce is an OSCAR Before School, After School and School Holiday Programme for children aged 5-13, which has been running for over nine years. It is operated by the Zion Family Centre Trust.

 

The Zion Family Centre Trust is a community-based organisation situated with our own dedicated space in the Showgrounds Events Park, a hub of community activity. It was established in 2003 and has always had a focus on helping the young people of our community.

 

An award-winning programme, achieving the best new programme after opening in 2008 and the outstanding OSCAR programme for the lower North Island in 2012. Bounce has a team of motivated and enthusiastic staff who encourage positive social interaction and learning with the children.

 

Bounce aims to provide a home-like environment, giving children various opportunities to participate, develop and explore their potential in a safe place. This is achieved through a variety of fun activities, from outdoor sports to quiet small group games, a range of arts and crafts as well as chances to discover new hidden talents and just enjoy new experiences. 

 

Bounce is fully OSCAR and CYFs approved and Working for Families subsidies may be available to help reduce your cost.

Hours of Operation

 

The Before School Programme operates from Monday to Friday during the School Term from 7am.

The After School Programme operates from Monday to Friday during the school term from 3pm to 6pm.

The Holiday Programme operates from Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.

It is important that the children are collected on time. Please advise if lateness is expected.
